2018 Kia Soul Interior
If you’re considering the Kia Soul for your next ride, you may already know about its unmistakable exterior and athletic performance. What drivers around D’lberville, Gulfport, and Hattiesburg seem to forget, however, is just how advanced and comfortable the interior of this model really is. With that in mind, our team at Pat Peck Kia created this 2018 Kia Soul interior review.
As you continue reading, you’ll learn about a variety of interior features, such as passenger and cargo space, design, and technology!
Kia Soul Interior Infotainment Technology
The precision dashboard of the Kia Soul looks like something out of a futuristic movie. Not only is the sleek, clean design easy on the eyes, but it’s also practical, with a range of available features to play around with.
For example, there’s the UVO 8-inch touchscreen display that comes with premium navigation and HD Radio™. This screen is user-friendly, and the navigation system is especially handy if you’re traveling to a new location.
You can also pair your smartphone with your Soul by using Android Auto™ or Apple CarPlay™. Once your phone is linked up, you can access apps, like music, directly on the touchscreen display.
Your favorite playlist will also sound crisp and clear thanks to the Harman/Kardon® Audio System, which comes with a center speaker, subwoofer, and external amplifier. There’s also an additional six speakers with dash-mounted tweeters.
Finally, the Siri® Eyes Free setup allows you to access Siri just by using your voice.
Interior Styling & Customization Options
The stylish interior of the Kia Soul isn’t just for show. It also comes with a range of comfort and convenience features that help this model separate itself from the competitors. Take, for instance, the 10-way power-adjustable front passenger seat with power lumbar support.
As the weather begins to shift, so does the temperature of your seats. The front seats feature both heating and ventilation, and the rear seats can also be outfitted with built-in heating capabilities.
If you want to customize the interior of your Soul, you have a couple of options to play with. There’s the leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, which adds a touch of athleticism. Or, you can go with the sport leather steering wheel. You can even upgrade the trimming with additions like piano black accents.
Kia Soul Interior Dimensions
Perhaps the most gratifying aspect of the Kia Soul is the interior space, which can comfortably seat up to five people while still offering plenty of room for luggage.
The total passenger volume checks in at 101 cubic feet, and it’s designed to keep everyone comfortable with proportions like 39.1 inches of rear legroom and 40.9 inches of front legroom.
You can tailor your cargo space to better fit your needs, too. With the rear seats standing, you have 24.2 cubic feet of available room. If you fold those seats down, however, your cargo volume shoots up to 61.3 cubic feet.
