The Kia Niro Plug-In features the same engine as the hybrid, put adds a battery system that you can conveniently recharge with a plug-in cable. With a 240-volt cable, it can be fully charged within two and a half hours. You can also charge it overnight at home with a 120-volt cable. It also gets up to 139 horsepower but provides you with a total driving range of up to 560 miles.2
Kia Optima Hybrid
The Kia Optima Hybrid takes one of the brand’s most stylish and dependable sedans and adds an efficient powertrain to it. This sleek ride runs on a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine and a Full Parallel Hybrid System. The combined output comes to 192 horsepower and allows you to drive up to an EPA-estimated 40 MPG city and 45 MPG highway.1
Kia Optima Plug-In
If you’re interested in a rechargeable midsize sedan, you’ll love the Kia Optima Plug-In. It uses the same 2.0L 4-cylinder engine as the previous model but uses a more powerful battery to get up to 202 horsepower. Plus, it’s battery can be fully charged in less than three hours. Kia Soul EV
The Kia Soul EV takes this sporty hatchback and makes it more efficient than ever. It’s powered by an electric motor that produces up to 201 horsepower and a 64-kilowatt lithium-ion battery. This system is easy to charge and can get up to 80% battery life in only about 35 minutes, which gives you a driving range of up to 111 miles.3
