2018 Kia Sedona Safety Technology

As a vehicle that’s made for families, the 2018 Kia Sedona is designed to keep you safe. Its high-tensile-strength steel frame was built with front and rear crumple zones to better absorb and distribute energy during a collision.

Inside, there’s an advanced airbag system that features dual front airbags, dual front seat mounted side airbags, and full-length side curtain airbags that protect all three rows of seats.

On top of the airbag system and intelligent design, there’s lots of driver assistance features to help prevent accidents before they occur. The Kia Drive Wise system uses smart technology to watch out for you, such as:

  • Lane Departure Warning System
  • Smart Cruise Control
  • Autonomous Emergency Braking
  • Blind-Spot Detection with Lane-Change Assist
  • Rear Cross-Traffic Alert

You can also rest easy knowing that the seats are even made to protect you. In the back, there’s Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH), while up front, there’s seat-belt pretensioners that instantly tighten if any impact is detected.
